The "NUFF MADNESS" Tournament
Ever heard of March Madness? 

Now please take note that any of the INFO below may change as needed to accommodate any changes to the NRL ..

The Tournament is formatted just like the NCAA College Basketball Tourney

There are 4 regions of 16 Racers Each...

All Nuffers were seeded by NRL Officers and based on
2009 OVERALL RANKINGS/PERFORMANCE

The Bracket will work Just Like the NCAA Bracket...
1 vs 16, 2 vs 15, 3 vs 14...etc

Non NRL members (unranked) will be matched against each other as much as possible throughout the 4 regions

This is an Elimination Style Tourney...

ONE on ONE Racing at the Tracks determined By NRL OFFICIALS

THE FIRST ROUND TWO ROUNDS WILL RUN FROM
December 14th through 31st, 2009

ROUND ONE Will be a 5% Race at Atlanta Motor Speedway - COT
COMPLETED

ROUND TWO Will be a 5% Race at Daytona Superspeedway - COT
Projected Date Range to Complete - 1/7/2010 - 1/10/2010 

The SWEET 16 Will Race 15% at  
Michigan International Speedway - NNS
Projected Date Range to Complete - 1/7/2010 - 1/10/2010 

The BIG 8 Will be a 20% Race at 
Martinsville Speedway - TRUCKS
Projected Date Range to Complete - 1/9/2010 - 1/16/2010 

The Final Four Race 30% at 
Texas Motor Speedway - COT
Projected Date Range to Complete - 1/17/2010 - 1/23/2010 

THE NUFF MADNESS CHAMPIONSHIP RACE
Will be a 40% - 50% Race at 

 Talladega Superspeedway

Projected Date Range to Complete - 1/24/2010 - 1/31/2010 

HOW IT WORKS!!

It's really easy Nuffers !! All you do is coordinate with your opponent a date and time you will race. You will need at least 2 witnesses for the race... however as many as 12 Nuffers can come out to watch the race.

Then just create the scheduled track as dictated on the schedule... allow yourselves a few minutes of practice..then GET AT IT!

Make sure you and your opponent will start first and second so the spectators do not bother you at the beginning of the race.

Once the green flag drops.. all spectators must hurry to their preferred viewing place and pull COMPLETELY off the track... again..so as to not bother the competitors.

Upon completion of the duel... simply report your results and the names of at least two witnesses present at the race to Mwils1

 Just like NCAA March Madness.... the Winner advances to the next round.. the loser must wait till next year.

Note:

If a racer loses connection or suffers engine failure BEFORE the end of the race... The winning race DOES NOT have to finish the scheduled race length

The same applies if one racer chooses to concede the duel before the end of the race.
