Power Rankings - Pocono

By DaleReynolds24

Here's the start of somewhat a new thing here in the NRL. Similar to the NASCAR.com thing, I will take 10 drivers and put them into a power ranking based on past race races. So with that...heres the power ranking system entering this weekends Pocono 500!

Also remember, this is meant to have some fun and blow some steam. Nothing in here is meant as a personal shot at people. It's all a joke

1st. TheGift3399 - Since nobody really has the stranglehold at Pocono like he does (2 wins in 4 starts), he automatically gets shoe-in for top spot this week. Maybe he can teach his teammate DaleReynolds24 how to not choke when racing in front of a home crowd.

2nd. DaleReynolds24 - 6 wins in a span of 8 races. The other 3 finishes around and in between this span? 17th, 13th and the 16th last week. Boy it's quite obvious when he doesn't use that cheat code

3rd. Kapalua2483 - Can't really find anything to say about him other than he ran well at both Pocono races last season. Its quite a shock that I cant find anything to say actually, since that's been the opposite of what other people do to Kap.

4th. SINNERSLIKEME - Talk about "where did he come from?" Has a top 10 finish in the past 4 Sprint Cup races and currently sits 5th in the points chase. Move over Kevin Harvick, here's the new silent assassin. Oh wait, he doesn't fart like you though.

5th. Kelley1968 - This race was the start of his "downfall" last season. He currently is in a bit of a slump himself thus far after winning the Daytona 500. But if you go searching back in the records, let me know when you see the supposed "downfall" because I couldn't find it either.

6th. MetsRule2000 - Probably the most consistent of the NRL rookies this year. I'm not kidding. 8 top 10 finishes (only 1 of them was a top 5 finish) and 1 DNF in 13 races, pretty much a shoe-in to finish between 6th and 10th. Come on man, didn't your girlfriend say you were getting a little too predictible?

7th. xXCHUCK1979Xx - Most recently qualified horribly at Lowes which knocked him down a few places. If there is a place for Chuck to get his first win, it is Pocono. He had the race won in 2008 until a surprise "Gift" ended up not being what he wanted. And maybe this year he would like to put a "Kap" on his winless streak.

8th. Speedracer91sf - A very nice 2nd place at Lowes last week. If it wasn't for the fact that we are going to a track that actually requires some assists to be fast, maybe he would be higher in the power rankings.

9th. Mwils1 - His "one win per season" gimmick is already turning a lot of heads. He won this event in 2007, but with finishes of no worse than 9th in his career at Pocono, it's one of the few times that people don't turn their heads with feelings on nausea.

10th. xG3T D3STROY3Dx - Okay, so I almost have to include "Shooter McGavin" in the power rankings this week. Almost more shocking than Jimmie Johnson's recent lack of luck, is Shooter's recent finishes. 9th, 5th, 9th, 4th, and 11th the past 5 races. Opposite of MetsRule and similar to Mwils, he's all over the recent results and, for once, not all over the track (which usually gets people to turn their heads away in pity than amazement)
