DaleReynolds Leads the Way In 1st Prequal Session for Auto Club 500!

Aight Nuffers,

13 Nuffers Came out to the first Prequal Session for the AutoClub 500 !! Your 1st Nuffer to Prequal was HooRaY RaFFerty... who set the pace with a strong 36.624 Lap. Defending Champ DaleReynolds took his shot as the 4th Nuffer and by golly....tied the Lap Record with a sterling 36.510 in his 1st lap!! Mannnnn... when I saw that on his first lap.. I said to myself.. "self.... dis brudda gonna take out that record!!". But nawwww... Dale blew the engine with about 100 yards to go in the last lap but still settled for what is now Da Pole !!! Kapalua2438 currently holds the outside row right now with a 36.558 lap!!

All in all, there were 3 Nuffers who registered 36.5zzz and 2 more that registered 36.6s! WOWOWOW!!! I would not be surpised if it takes a mid to high 36.6 to make track A!! But ammo tell you what.. with 15 Bonus pts and a guaranteed track A spot available for winning track B... my heart will not be broken if Dis Nuffer starts on track B on Saturday!!

Oh Ya Nuffers... we also ran a very nice practice race last night... 63 laps that saw Kapalua and Dale lead 14 Nuffers to the finish line... Kap got by Dale in the final lap to coast to the win!! Both were VERY Impressive...as was DueceyDu!! Gonna be a great race Saturday !!

Don't forget...there are 3 sessions today... so let's see if anyone can take that record. The schedule is on the home page...to the right... unda the latest results block. Make sure you make one of those sessions to have your prequal time officially entered!! As well be reminded that as long as we have room on Saturday.. you do not have to prequal.. you can still race... however also remember that all should prequal even if you can not make the race. That process still earns you at least 25 points in the standings !!
