Rookie Mets gets a 3rd place finish in Pure Sim!!!

As the Nuff Pure Sim Series headed to Richmond, Mets was not determined at all.  "I didn't think i would be a contender at the end of the race but boy i was".  In his first full Nuff Racing League race, Mets showed the rest of the Pure Sim nuffers that he is in it to win it.  "I think i showed my fellow competitors how i run.  I run conservative and clean.  I try to stay the hell of out people's way, and it actually worked.  I just take my time to get back up there.  And it paid off.

Mets lead the first and only run of the night, as he led 5 to 10 laps during the beginning of the race.  Although Mets survived several clashes, engine problems, and wrecks with other AI cars, he showed the other competitors that he is STRONG!  "I was so surprised my engine didn't blow after getting into Gordon pretty hard.  Defintely a break for me.  The 5 car was being a complete douche and hits/spins me out.  But, as you know what they say PAYBACK IS A REAL BITCH!!!"

At the end of the race, Mets was in line to win the race, but a caution with 2 laps to go by Jimbo026 cost Mets his shot at winning the Race, as Mets would finish third in his first full Nuff Racing League action.  "I was really happy with how things turned out for me.  I was in line to win the race, and thats all i really care about!"

Mets also commented on how his teammates did.  "Puffin was a bigger surprise to me than myself.  He handled the car really well, and we finished 3-4 in the race.  Shooter had some bad luck with the AI cars at the end but managed to finish in the top 10.  "I am excited about the things to come with this team!  We are fast, competitive, and we are always there to race for the win in the end.  Glad i am apart of a great team like Makes Em Cry Motorsports".  Mets was the highest finishing MEC Motorsports driver.

Mets' next action won't be until next thursday as he continues to try to run the Nuff Pure Sim Series.  After that, Mets will try to run the next pure sim race, as he already announced that he will not make the Shootout.  Then after that, he will make his Sprint Cup Series Debut as the Nuff Sprint Cup heads to its season debut in Daytona!!!
