Aight Nuffers... I know you all have been patiently waiting on the details of the

Abbotttazz Invitational

so here goes !!

Now please take note that any of the INFO below may change as needed to accommodate any changes to the NRL before the invitational starts..

WHEN?

Right after the Nextel Season has been Completed.... Specific dates and times will be determined during the Nextel Cup Chase.

ELIGIBLE RACERS?

12 Nuffers will be eligible for this special event.

The TOP 10 OVERALL RANKED Nuffers and 2 Wild Cards !!

As you know... the overall rankings are based on every race of every series... so even if you don't have a shot in a particular series... might not be a bad idea to get some points on your overall ranking!

All Nuffers ranked 11th and lower will take part..:::if they choose:: in a
"Race Off"
with 2 Nuffers grabbing the wild card slots !!!

The "Race-Off" will be a 50% wear 2x COT race at Daytona !!

For each original Top 10 Nuffer that CANNOT Make the invitational...
the next highest ranked Nuffer will take the slot...

SCORING?

Normal Nextel Series Scoring Format applies.... with a twist!!

To the top 10 drivers that pick tracks, if you win the pole on YOUR TRACK you will gain an extra 5 pts.

if you win the race on YOUR TRACK you will gain an extra 5 pts.

FOR EXAMPLE: Driver A picks Daytona and earns the pole, leads most laps and wins the race, standard Nuff Pts for the race plus 5 pts more for the pole AND 5 pts for winning, instead of pts ending up @ 195 it will be 205.
 

SCHEDULE?

EACH of the Top 10 Nuffers will be able to pick the track, the type of race and the rules !!!

The 10th Rank Nuffers will pick the first track and the Top Rank Nuffer will pick the Last track...

Only requirements are that ALL Races be 100%
and only 1 track can be raced during the Tournament...

So if racer A picks Bristol... regardless of type of race... NO ONE ELSE can pick Bristol...
even if they he wanted to use a different type of race.

The Abbotttazz Invitational Champion will receive a
"Winner's Cup" and 2000 GamerPoints

The Nuffers with the best average finish Will receive
1000 GamerPoints

The winner of each race will receive
300 GamerPoints!!
